And so you have to begin by recognizing that something in yourself is causing this lack of progress. Maybe you feel like you're not good enough, you may be thinking back over all the things that have gone wrong lately. You begin to recognize that you have all the wrong ideas: You're not good enough because you're too tall; or You're not good enough because you have an anxiety disorder. 3. Make a list of all of the things that bother you. Do you know all the times you've been the only person in the room at a birthday party, and someone threw a glass at you?
